Harriet Cross MP recently visited and operated Augean's new tubular decontamination unit. all part of their waste management operations and allows them to clean and make safe contaminated, decommissioned piping - largely from Oil & Gas assets.
Some radioactive materials naturally occur - especially where pipes have had hydrocarbons flowing through them for decades - so having the skills and equipment here in Gordon and Buchan to contribute to the waste management process of decommissioning allows our region to extend the employment and local benefits from the North Sea into the future.
